The quaint community of Mossyrock lies nestled in the trees between Riffe Lake and Mayfield Lake, a place locals like to refer to as the “Heart of Lewis County”.

Things to See and Do: Fertile soils provide some of the tastiest blueberries grown in the Pacific Northwest. There are three local blueberry farms located in Mossyrock, in fact, Mossyrock hosts the annual Mossyrock Blueberry Festival each year on the first weekend in August. This is an event you won’t want to miss.
DeGoedes Bulb farm & Gardens lies at the west end of town, supplying all of your landscaping & gardening supplies. Their Outdoor Garde is a beautiful park-like setting which showcases all the foliage identified for your convenience. They carry shrubs and trees too.
Schools: Mossyrock School District, is the home of the Vikings! The school has approximately 515 students in grades K-12 with a student/teacher ratio of 16-1. Numerous school athletic activities include, football, basketball, volleyball, track, and baseball.
Shopping: The surrounding communities and major retailers are just minutes away. Chehalis and Centralia being the closest cities are only a quick 30-minute drive away. Smith & Son Grocery Store is owned and operated by longtime residents. There are 2 fuel stations, and 1 quick stop convenience store. There are multiple beauty shops, tanning salons and the “Blessings” 2nd hand store.
Faith Community: Several churches offer services to our area.
Dining Out: There are several restaurants to choose from, one of the town favorites being Nachos Mexican Restaurant. The Pioneer Bar & Grill is home to the “Dam Burger”, you best be hungry to eat this beast.
Medical: Mossyrock has 3 medical clinics including, River Valley Community Health run by Dr. Hugo Oliveira, and 2 massage therapists, while Morton (only 10 miles west) has Arbor Health Hospital, a medical clinic, dentists, chiropractors, and massage therapists.
Stop in for a visit as you drive down the White Pass Scenic Byway, you might just want to call the City of Mossyrock “Home” too.
